Created by Lottery funding via Sandwell based tenant association SCIPS, DigiDiner is a program to ensure community and resident groups do not be left behind in regards social media and forming digital campaigns.
We were approached to create a series of workshops delivered in a highly easy to understand manner due to participants having little or no digital experience, hence designing every workshop in the form of recipe cards and simple to follow worksheets participants can revisit.
The workshops covered everything from the basic to risk management to guiding participants through writing their social media strategy.
Every workshop was developed in a way that anybody could facilitate future events without the need of us so SCIPS can continue to run DigiDiner cohorts without the support of New Union.
The first cohort had 13 participants with 6 monthly workshops.
“It was a really great opportunity to bring people together from different teams, people who I haven't thought would work together in terms of data. We can really look at some of those opportunities that have have got and bringing in other sectors. Fantastic times and really really good discussions.”
"My favourite part of the course was learning about all of the platforms and the pitfalls of using them, it was very very enlightening I must say.”
“What I liked about the course it that anybody from any level could learn from it but it was set out earlier so nobody would be left behind in the group.”
