If you are a Local Government Officer from anywhere in the world working in planning or community outreach and you are looking for training opportunities for your staff which can include members of the community, this will be of interest to you.
During the last week of February we are holding a week long festival celebrating all things tactical urbanism with 7 days packed of virtual workshops, content, talks, interviews, blogs and even a virtual policy hackathon at the end of the week.
As part of the festival we are inviting Local Government to sign up to host their own specialised tactical urbanism workshop that has been designed by us. This is a free training opportunity for your staff, local community NGOs and activists to come together to learn about this interesting form of placemaking, see it in action and take part in a series of activities which can use again for project ideas or even policy whenever you want in the future.
We’ll send you your own version of the workshop with your branding and hatever information you want to the slides so you can add it to your own suite of internal training which you can run within your community, with no charge or catch, why wouldn't you sign up?
This is free and funded via us New Union and we will even help you to promote it, but, spaces are limited so if you are interested in hosting an event please sign up via the Google Form, here.
Applications are welcome from any part if the world, but it is worth highlighting the content is in English.
